It's one of those milestone birthdays in life...like turning 40 except without the aches, pains and bills. Hadley celebrated her birthday at pre-school, at home, at Chuck E. Cheese and this coming weekend with all her friends.
She got her yearly intake of sugar and cupcakes within a few hours of turning 5...egh, what are you going to do?
True to her word as well, she let me take the training wheels off her bike. We went to eh grassy field and within 15 minutes, she was cruising like she had practiced it in her sleep for 4 years. Unfortunately for me, it was one of those milestone events when you realize that your little girl isn't always going to be so little (yes, I lost it...which made Carly lose it and we both stood there bawling in the grassy field)
I'm very proud of her.
