There is only so much dirt a person can take. We knew that moving to Arizona meant that there would be dust, dirt and desert. We just didn't think that we'd have to live with it for almost 6 months...

This was the worst because the plan had to be approved by the HOA - dumbasses, all of them. Check that - whoever wrote the guidelines for the landscaping - dumbass. Who wants to put a 5 gallon plant every 20 square feet? Do you know how sh*tty that looks?

The only redeeming part about the process is that we have led the way for others to have artificial turf in the front yards. It was previously 'banned' by the guidelines. We persisted and eventually got the guidelines modified to include artificial turf as well as sod. It's the little wins...
