Many of you have your own Christmas traditions - we too have ours.

Christmas Eve we always have a tasty cheese and vegetable soup. The kids also get to open a couple presents (pre-picked by mom and dad). They get new Christmas pajama's and a new ornament to put on their trees.

Afterwards, we drive around looking at lights with mugs of hot chocolate (it would seem that the novelty of looking at lights wears off around the age of 6 - Hadley exclaimed "Dad, this is boring. We saw these same ones last year")

Once we get back home, we read the Night Before Christmas, set out cookies/milk for Santa...and new for this year, oats & carrots for the reindeer. OH, and don't forget the magic Santa key (we don't have a fireplace).

Once the kids are in bed, we put together any "Santa" presents while watching Christmas Vacation (Chevy Chase).

That rounds out our Christmas traditions - I hope you and your family enjoyed the holiday and didn't get stuck in the snow!
